For more than 40 years already, our company has been renowned in Switzerland for its importation of quality wines. We think of ourselves as the bridge between vintners and lovers of authentic and quality wines. 40 years of sharing with you the pleasure of new discoveries, of providing guidance and advice. Certainly, the great wines of which we are the exclusive agent, make up an important part, but they co-exist happily with more humble and lesser known appellations with inspiring stories and passionate people. The proven criteria for our research have not changed and the discipline to which we hold ourselves accountable in selecting our wines is even stricter. We accept only the highest caliber wines without concession. This same attention is given to entry level wines as well as to Grands Crus. Small (or very small) yields are privileged as well as wines which are the product of a viticulture which is respectful of both man and the environment. The most renowned tables in the country have given us their confidence and we hope you will as well.
We wish you excellent discoveries.
“How can one not be moved when tasting the wines of Christophe Roumier? Their humanity capsizes the soul”.
La Revue des Vins de France January 2013
Installed in the village of Chambolle-Musigny, the domaine Georges Roumier, owned and managed by the very talented and endearing Christophe Roumier, possesses a splendid patrimony of old vines planted in prestigious appellations. Each vintage is a challenge that this property rises to, by creating delicate and elegant wines. The purity of the fruit bursts under fine, silky tannins. The fine work in the management of the vines, followed by a rigorous and seasoned vinification, defies climactic hazards. From the Chambolle-Musigny village, passing by the Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Cras, without forgetting the robust Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru, this entire range of wines is highly sought after, and with good reason. TheMorey Saint-Denis 1er Cru Clos de la Bussière is equally worth a detour and appears as an introduction to the wines (too rare) of this property. High art !
